![]() ![]() This works much the same way as it does on a standard starship. It is used the same way as the hull repair module. It uses five scrap to refill all 12 torpedoes, so it is recommended to use all torpedoes before replenishing them. There is a torpedo refill module in the map room, right next to the hull repair module. To use the hull repair module, stand in front of it and hold R until the bar at the bottom of the screen fills up. Therefore, it is not recommended to repair the hull unless it is damaged by 200 or more integrity. If the hull is damaged by less than 200 integrity, repairing the hull will waste the excess integrity. This module uses one scrap to repair the hull integrity by 200. There is a hull repair module in the map room, located behind the main turret. The Hull Repair module (left) and Torpedo Refill module (right) The signal processor can help the pilot locate nearby scrap. Scrap has three uses: repairing the URV's hull, replenishing torpedoes, and upgrading components/ weapons. It also does not need to be processed like it does on a starship collecting scrap will automatically process it. Scrap has a vastly different appearance than its starship counterpart it does not glow blue, it obeys gravity, and it appears as discarded, grey-brown pieces of metal. Scrap can occasionally be found scattered on the ground, and enemies drop one scrap on death. The amount of scrap the crew has can be seen in place of credits, on the bottom right of the screen. Instead of credits, your crew collects and uses scrap for various purposes. The mission briefing is 4 pages long and goes over planet Umbra-K54, the anomaly, your ship, and your mission, alongside other basic information.Īs there are no trading stations or repair depots on Umbra-K54, credits are of no use. There are two mission briefings onboard, one found in the map room by the hull repair module and one in the lounge on the captain's bed. These manuals go through the basics of URV-500 control as well as every unique component found on the ship. To help the player understand how to use the URV-500, there are three URV Manuals found on the ship: one on the bridge by the captain's chair, one in the map room by the research station, and one in the lounge on the weapons specialist's bed. The URV-500 has several features and quirks which are not seen aboard a starship. ![]()
